Our holiday home in the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland is a large period property
finished to high standard in a stunning location in the centre of Crail Village.
Even though it will accommodate up to 12 people it also has a warm cosy feel and is a perfect holiday retreat for a couple or small group.
Just a short walk away from the property is the beach
and harbour. With pubs and excellent restaurants on your door step this is a perfect retreat for your Scottish holiday.
Inside the house we have left shelves full of books for you to enjoy together with a CD player and many music CDs.
The 42 inch television comes with Sky programs including Sky Sports but it is lovely just to sit on the window seat with a book and a glass of wine!
Our beautiful property is the perfect setting for your holidays in Crail, Scotland.
And if you have never been fortunate enough to spend your holidays in Crail, Scotland I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised with all the area has to offer and the beautiful scenery.
Golfing holidays: golfers can take advantage of the Balcomie and Craighead Links Golf courses which are
a few miles down the road - the house is large enough to take groups of golfers looking to play more than
just the St. Andrews courses.
The property has plenty of free parking right at it's door and Crail itself offers a busy and wide array of attractions for it's size, all in the setting of a beautiful coastal village.

Crail.. a pretty village
Crail is a quiet and attractive, historic village nestled on the
scenic coast line of the East Neuk of Fife, just 9 miles from
the university town of St Andrews.
The picturesque working harbour, where you can purchase locally caught
crabs and lobster, is only a 5 minute walk and the windy streets make
it a haven for artists.

Those who enjoy exploring the beautiful coast line with it's many walks
and scenic picnic spots will appreciate that access to the Fife Coastal
path is only 5 mins from the door of Mercat House.
Golf is a great magnet to the area as the superb courses of St Andrews,
Kingsbarns, Crail and Anstruther are all within 10 minute journey's Lundin links
(25 mins) and Carnoustie (45 mins)

Anstruther is a 5 min drive away and has an excellent fisheries museum where
you can easily spend an afternoon.. it also has the renowned award winning fish and chip shop.
